Help and support for our family

Hey everyone as some of you may already know, our family has gone through a pretty traumatizing event and our lives have been a little upside down the past couple days. Andrew was in a bad situation and we almost lost him to a very unfortunate event. He was flown to sunny brook hospital in Toronto early Monday morning and was in surgery for about 7 hours which felt like a life time. The surgeons, doctors , nurses, paramedics, firefighters, police, friends and family worked extremely hard to help get Andrew the medical attention and love that he needed through it all. Andrew had a hole in his heart, his intestines had been severely damaged, his lung collapsed and he had multiple other wounds that needed to be treated. After hours of not hearing a word, andrews surgeon was able to put him back together and repair all the damage done. We are extremely thankful for the wonderful people that had brought him back to us. The doctors and nurses are saying that he will not be going home for a little while and as you all may know driving almost 2 hours there and back  everyday and paying for parking down in Toronto is super expensive as well as being a mother of an 8 month old and having only one income while Andrew gets better can become overwhelming. We are asking friends and family for support during this difficult time and we want you to know as well that Andrew is doing very well  right now considering the circumstances but we still have a long road ahead of us to get him home with his family. #StopTheViolence
