We are reaching out on behalf of Jason Barnum. Many know his past from the news, but today his story is about change, growth, and a new direction. Jason has been remanded back to custody and will be serving the remainder of his sentence at Point Mackenzie Correctional Farm. God willing.

This farm provides him with opportunities to learn farming, welding, and computer skills. Jason has also given his life to the Lord and is committed to pursuing ministry while he is there. He wants to use this time to prepare for a healthier, more meaningful future.

At Point Mackenzie, Jason is allowed to wear regular clothes, but he must order them online. Right now, he doesn’t have the resources to cover what he needs. This fundraiser has been set at $2,000 to help him purchase:

A warm winter jacket

Durable work boots and gloves

Regular clothing and shoes

Pillow

Ministry study materials and resources for personal growth

And as a special encouragement for Jason, anything left over after his essentials are covered will go toward a cowboy hat—a little something that will lift his spirits and put a smile on his face while he works hard at the farm.
