Thank so much for the prayers and support over the last few weeks as Leah's, and all our live's have been turned upside down. It's been a roller coaster of events and emotions, and still so many unanswered questions for at least another couple of weeks.
We know Leah has Pre B ALL (Leukemia). We know that it will be at least 2.5 years of chemotherapy for her. We know Leah can't be involved in school or daycare for 6 to 12 months. We know Jessica has to leave her job until Leah can be cleared to return. We know she has a compromised immune system and normal everyday environments can put her back in the hospital if she is exposed to even mild germs that our healthy bodies fight off everyday without symptoms. We know we need help from others.
It's been a strange turn of events for such fiercely independent people as Jessica & myself to have our lives turned upside down so quickly, to lives where we have no control and need to rely on the help of others. Please continue to pray for and send positive thoughts to Leah. God hears and does good. And if it you able to help us give Leah the healing environment she needs with financial support, even if it is a little, we can do the things she needs to beat cancer.
