Help Sam Fight Leukemia

My husband Sam has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia, specifically AML. This condition came on quickly and he is facing intense fatigue, weakness, and severe pain which has greatly impacted his ability to move around independently. This unexpected health news has brought about significant physical and financial challenges.

Sam is an incredible husband to me and a devoted father to our son, Aaron. We’re both forever grateful for his love, dedication, and countless sacrifice. Now more than ever we could use your support to help us get him the care he needs — it would mean the world to all of us.

His doctor urged us to get started quickly, and Sam recently began his first cycle of Chemotherapy — right now this is our most urgent cost. For the cost of chemotherapy alone, the first full cycle was $4,480, which we must pay upfront to receive care (640.00 a session for 7 days at a time) Meaning a full year of treatment would cost us $53,760 out of pocket, and payment plans are not applicable in our situation.

We were able to get him through his first cycle by any means necessary, but the out-of-pocket cost of Chemotherapy makes long-term consistent care unsustainable on our own. This doesn’t include other costs such as medication, additional urgent medical care, and the extensive medical bills from his time and testing in the hospital before his diagnosis.
