Hi my name is Zoe, this go fund me is set up for my friends loving dog Fudge.

My friends sweet 7yr old male chihuahua Fudge is currently suffering from a genetic condition called cholangitis which has the lead to gallbladder mucocele

which is impacting his gallbladder and health.

Fudge has had some ongoing health issues recently during which further investigations have identified a critical need to remove Fudges gallbladder due to a build up of sludge and stones inside his bladder, with this condition there is a very real risk of a rupture which would ultimately mean losing Fudge to this awful but treatable condition.

None of us can loose sweet boy Fudge, he isn’t just a pet he is a beloved part of the family and one of two companions my friend has since her adult children have left home.

We first detected problems when it was noticed blood in fudges urine back in early January. Since then he has been taking five different types of medication and a strict diet change but the condition has not resolved, surgery is now fudges only option as a second chance. We hate to have to come on here to appeal to the kindness of strangers but I am not currently in a financial position to pay for fudges gallbladder removal surgery myself due to his insurance reaching its limit due to his on going treatment. The vet has estimated at around £6000 with a specialist vet based in Swindon.

I ask you kindly to please consider donating to fudges cause no matter how big or small to help me fund his life saving surgery and give him the second chance he so very much deserves!

It will be a devastating loss for the whole family to lose Fudge.
