Help Support Families in Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa
Hello everyone,
My name is Beth Rayner and I am married to a native of Jamaica, Kemar Rayner. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart from the States to ask for your help and prayers for my husband’s family and others in Jamaica who have been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa. The storm brought devastating winds and flooding that have left many families without homes, clean water, food, or basic supplies.
My husband’s family lives in one of the hardest-hit areas. They live in Hanover, which is on the northwest side of the island. God kept His hand on their home, but many surrounding homes have been destroyed. Roofs have been torn off, belongings destroyed, and access to electricity and clean water is limited. Getting to stores and buying basic supplies such as food is impossible at the moment. We are hoping to raise money to ship items down in hopes it reaches as the roads are cleared. We’ve been doing everything we can from here, but the need is far greater than what we can provide alone.
Your donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward helping families in Jamaica get the essential supplies they need to survive and start rebuilding:
• Food and clean drinking water
• Clothing and bedding
• Roofing materials and repair supplies
• Hygiene products and medical items
Every bit of support will make a difference for families who have lost so much. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others. Together, we can bring hope, comfort, and relief to those who are hurting.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
With gratitude,
Beth Rayner and Family
