Hi my name is Nuredin Indris. I am a 2nd year at UC Berkeley and I am an intended Psychology major. I am fundraising to buy blankets for the homeless people living around Berkeley. Winters here can get pretty cold especially since we’re by the bay. The temperature can be as low as the high 30s and a few nights ago I saw a homeless man shivering. That got me thinking towards this project. The goal is to raise $2,102 which can buy 100 blankets that are $21.02 (link on the bottom) each but if we could raise more that would obviously be great. You can donate 5 dollars or even a dollar and that would be alright but feel free to donate more! I hope to have all the money by December so I can order them ASAP. If and when we get the total amount of money, I will post a video of me and my friends handing out the blankets so you can look forward to that. Thanks a lot.
