In May of 2019, my sibling, Al Bowers III aka Tiffany Ann Nye, and I found our way back to each other after nearly five decades apart, having last seen one another in December of 1970. What began as a reunion quickly became a precious gift—we spent the years that followed sharing memories, laughter, and the deep joy of truly knowing each other again. Not long ago, they were diagnosed with cancer, yet through it all they faced every moment with remarkable strength and unwavering hope, determined to overcome it. Sadly, December 13, they lost their battle with cancer. These funds will help ease the financial burden that unfortunately accompanies losing a loved one.
