EDIT, PLEASE READ: as of right now our situation has become somewhat less urgent, but that could change again at any time. my boyfriend's dad gave us a chance to "prove ourselves," so we are basically stuck doing whatever he says and pretending it doesn't harm us. we know now that his dad can and will threaten us again over anything. this house also has mold damage that makes us frequently sick.
since we're not being removed immediately, we have the chance to plan something out on our own terms and hopefully find a way to stay in a state we're safe in. we can't stay in this situation and would like to escape as soon as possible, but with time to figure things out we have a better chance. immediate donations are going towards upcoming bills and helping us survive as we look for and start new jobs, and anything after that point will be saved for finding a safe place to live and hopefully some financial security there for a bit. thank you so much to all of you who have helped or will, it's really kept us going.
