Help Witz get back on his feet after accident

Friday October 14th, 2022 my brother Ryan Hurewitz, was riding his electric scooter home from work in the bike lane of highway 206. He was hit by a speeding motorcyclist and has sustained serious injuries. The motorcycle was found totaled, over 300 yards from where Ryan was hit. Ryan was rushed to the emergency room where he spent the rest of the night.

To add insult to injury, while in the ER, the Sherrifs office allowed Ryan’s $3,000 new scooter to be “stolen” from the scene of the accident. Even though a family-friend was at the scene trying to get the scooter home for him. There was a theft report filed and we are still looking for it.

There are a lot of unknowns at the moment. Ryan is a full time single father and business owner and currently isn’t able to attend to either. He lives up a flight of stairs and is having a hard time with simple things like showers and going to the store.

This fundraiser is to help my brother get back on his feet....Literally. Any help with things like care giving, shopping, errand running, helping at Witzwheel, etc, will be very appreciated too... please contact Ryan directly. This will be an uphill battle and he can use any and all the help he can get right now.
