With Your Help We Will Beat Darlene's Cancer

It has been 8 years since Darlene fought one battle to win back her life. In September of 2010 she was induced in coma for three days due to a pedestrian and vehicle accident. It was those endless days and nights that made it a challenge for her husband and four beautiful daughters. Luckily the neurological surgery was successful and made a long term recovery thanks to the trauma center of Denver health. 

On September 5th of 2019 Darlene unfortunately got diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer. The news was shocking to all her family and loved ones. On the following day Darlene had an appointment with Dr. Jaiswal at the Denver health surgery department. Unfortunately Darlene was told the cancer is at a aggressive and invasive stage number two and that affected her very emotionally. On September 12th she had a meeting with Dr. Okayama at Denver health ACS hematology and oncologist where he described the urgency of the treatment.

Darlene was found desperate for this treatment as she does not have any health insurance to cover the chemotherapy. We are asking for your help to fight this second battle for her life. This treatment consists of six to eight chemotherapy’s and with the possibility of her losing her right breast. Please feel free to donate anything you can as it will make it possible for this treatment to be successful. Han pasado 8 años desde que Darlene peleó una batalla para recuperar su vida. En Septiembre del 2010 fue inducida en coma durante tres días debido a un accidente de peatone y vehículo. Fueron esos días y noches interminables los que lo convirtieron en un desafío para su esposo y sus cuatro hermosas hijas. Afortunadamente, la cirugía neurológica fue exitosa y se recuperó a largo plazo gracias al centro de traumatología de la salud de Denver.

El 5 de septiembre de 2019, desafortunadamente, a Darlene le diagnosticaron com cáncer de mama con carcinoma ductal invasivo. La noticia fue impactante para toda su familia y seres queridos. Al día siguiente, Darlene tuvo una cita con el Dr. Jaiswal en el departamento de cirugía de salud de Denver. Lamentablemente, le dijeron a Darlene que el cáncer se encuentra en una etapa agresiva e invasiva número dos y eso la afectó muy emocionalmente. El 12 de septiembre tuvo una reunión con el Dr. Okayama en la oncología y hematología ACS de Denver Health donde describió la urgencia del tratamiento.

Darlene fue encontrada desesperada por este tratamiento ya que no tiene ningún seguro de salud para cubrir la quimioterapia. Estamos pidiendo su ayuda para luchar en esta segunda batalla por su vida. Este tratamiento consiste de seis a ocho quimioterapia y tratamiento adicionales a largo plazo con la posibilidad de que pierda su seno derecho.
