Hi Folks!

My name is Brooke Smith - I am a dedicated advocate for sustainable farming practices, incorporating herbalism into my holistic approach to agriculture. I aim to bring forward-thinking solutions to sustainability.

I am embarking on an exciting journey to bring my dream and community-centric grocery store, Good Measure, to life.

With my background 12+ and 4 years of community involvement in Milwaukie, Oregon, I've noticed a need to provide local resources and a shared community space.

I am passionate about making Good Measure a welcoming and inclusive space for anyone to gather while supporting local makers, and offering a carefully curated selection of artisanal products and produce including fresh cut flowers, prepared small deli items, unique locally grown produce, a curated selection of pickles, sauces, meats, cheeses, local bread, full coffee bar, and natural wine. All produce will be sourced within a 100 miles. The location of Good Measure will be in the heart of Downtown Milwakie, Oregon.

The city of Milwaukie has been a huge supporter of Good Measure being a part of the revitalization and has generously offered a grant to support us, contingent on matching the amount of the grant. So, every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact.

Each of your contributions will go towards essential renovations, equipment upgrades and ensuring the store’s functionality is in highest service to the community. It will also give us a security net for the next few months while we are dialing it in.
