Hi friends,
Our sweet angel Nala had to get an emergency life-saving surgery. She ate something that got tangled up in her intestines and closed them off from being able to work. When they opened her up, the vet said her gut was inflamed and gray, and she had sepsis because she couldn’t poop.
Although foreign object removal surgeries are common with pets, they said this one was particularly intense because they had to cut around the intestines in three different places to remove it.
She just came home tonight and will get a “hospitalization” day tomorrow where she will receive all of her recovery fluids and medications.
As you can imagine, these surgeries are very expensive. My parents and I would be so grateful for any bit of help we can get to pay for Nala’s vet bill!
We love her and hope for a good recovery.
