Help with my Granddaughter's Pacemaker Surgery.

UPDATE: THEY WILL BE HEADING TO SEATTLE ON MONDAY, AUGUST 22 AND SURGERY IS SET FOR AUGUST 25. THEY WILL BOTH BE OUT OF WORK FOR 2 WEEKS AT THE MINIMUM. Hello, Our Granddaughter Aubree (age 3) is going to Seattle Children's Hospital sometime within the next 6 weeks for surgery to have a pacemaker put in. Aubree has been having syncope episodes since she was 8 months old, and they have determined that her brain and heart are not communicating with each other properly. Because of this, the doctor my son and daughter-in-law have been in contact with at Seattle Children's Hospital said that a pacemaker is the best option for safety and quality of life. Unfortunately, their insurance does not cover the lost wages they will have for at least a week, nor does the insurance cover fuel, food and lodging expenses.
