Help Kasey Fight Stage 4 Colon Cancer: A Mother’s Battle
Donation protected

Hello, my name is Kasey, and I’m a 37-year-old married mother of three wonderful boys aged 12, 9, and 3. On February 7, 2024, I received the devastating news that I have colon cancer. Following my first surgery on March 18, 2024, where about 60% of my colon and 66 lymph nodes were removed, I was hopeful when my circulating tumor DNA test came back negative two months later. However, my hopes were shattered in July when my CEA levels began to rise, indicating a recurrence of the cancer.
After further tests revealed a lesion on my liver and a second Signatera test confirmed my fears, my oncologist delivered the heartbreaking news: the cancer had metastasized, and it seems I had residual cancer from my initial surgery. With a 50% chance of a cure, I am determined to explore every possible avenue for treatment. I will be having surgery on my liver to remove my tumor on December 23rd and hospitalized for 3-5 days. Chemo will resume on January 23rd for the remaining 11 rounds.
I am seeking complementary health services such as red light therapy, saunas, vibration plates, supplements, and acupuncture that can help improve my chances of recovery. Unfortunately, many of these services are not covered by insurance, and the financial burden is overwhelming.
I understand that asking for help can be difficult, but I truly need your support. Any contribution you can make will help alleviate the financial strain, allowing me to focus on my healing journey without the added stress. Your generosity means the world to me and my family during this challenging time.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your support, whether financial or through your prayers and encouragement, is invaluable to us!
