Nick Baker: Memorial Costs and Future Expenses

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected loss of our beloved Nick, father, partner, actor, comedian, and businessman. Nick, a proud Philadelphia native and avid sports fan, was a charismatic, generous soul who made an impression on anyone he met. He accomplished many great things in his brief life, but the greatest by far was his pride and joy Eva, his 6-year-old daughter, whom he called, “The Bugaroo”. She inspired him to build a business, settle down, and be the best dad to her that she could ask for; sadly, now she is left without her daddy that loved her without measure and her mother Dawn must now take on the role of sole provider, financially and emotionally.

 

Nick and Dawn had their little girl in 2015, which inspired Nick to create a business called DadWare to promote skin to skin bonding for dads. This little business helped sustain their family through the pandemic. Nick was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to promote it on ABC’s Shark Tank; although he was not selected, he made his mark on the show and millions were able to learn about Dadware.

 

Dawn wants to ensure that Nick's legacy and vision live onward in DadWare for Eva. Nothing will ever replace Nick in their hearts. They miss Nick every day. Although, we understand these are challenging times, any donation to help ease the burden Dawn alone faces moving forward would be greatly appreciated. They will be used to cover memorial costs, supplement expenses related to raising Eva, sustain DadWare during this transitional period, and cover costs associated with Nick’s untimely passing.
