Medical support for parent

Who this will help

My name is Lorraine King, daughter of Luki and Pauline Akelkok, of Ekwok, Alaska. I am traveling with my dad and mom, for medical support assistance. The funds will be used for my airfare, hotel for parents and I for 5 days, and a car rental to drive my dad to appointments, and meals. I would need the funds before January 5, 2024, since I travel to Anchorage on January 6, to prep arrival of parents on January 7.

Why I'm fundraising

My dad is now in a wheelchair after contracting Covid in 2022 and lost a lot of weight, not able to eat anything besides Ensure. My dad would not go and get the procedure done unless my mom goes with him and I go as support and help, since they both are elderly and hard of hearing and he has to have this procedure done in Anchorage, since he is high risk.

A mentioned above, funds will be used for travel, hotel, car rental and meals. This will allow my family to figure out what is medically going on with my dad.
