Hello, my name is Tamara Gumm, and this past April 2022 my Husband, Lefon Prince, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostrate Cancer that has spread to his lungs and 5-3 - 5-7 backbones. He is needing 24-hour care, and I have already used all of the FMLA time approved by my job, so we have no money coming in at this time. Whatever anyone can do will be very helpful to us. Lefon has been a Wildland firefighter for over 30 years and has gotten to the point in his career of being an Engine Boss in 2019. He also had a successful landscaping and maintenance service that he loved, and we are still trying to manage to keep working, but the jobs are much too difficult for me alone. Lefon has passed on to be with his Lord on 12/30/22.
