with medical expenses for 3 yr old Theo

Donation protected
Hi my name is Cathy Coyne and my 3 year old great nephew, who lives in Glendale Arizona, Theo Cleveland has been diagnosed with a golf ball sized tumor behind his left eye. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated for medical expenses, time off from work etc. Praying and claiming COMPLETE healing In Jesus Name. ❤️

Hello to all from the Cleveland family, party of 6. David-Dad, Charity-Mom, Christian-9, Boaz-7, Theo-3 and Amora-19 months. We were asked to share a need from our household to yours, from our hearts to yours. We are a family of Faith and we are blessed to have a Christ-centered home. The Lord has been truly good to us and for this we are thankful. With all this being said we have found ourselves in a trial that we would have asked the Lord for a “pass” on if that was an option. Mid October 2022 my wife Charity had noticed an eye twitch (nystagmus) in our son Theo’s left eye. This twitch was not easily detectable as it only manifested itself when he was looking down and to the left.

Theo’s birthday was just a couple weeks away on Nov 1st and he had a doctor appointment already scheduled for his 3 yr annual check up. Charity brought this to the attention of our family doctor who sent us to an optometrist. They felt he needed an MRI on Dec 8th to see behind the eye. We were leaving the hospital and got a call saying they could see something there. I will never forget the feeling that my wife and I had when we heard the news, quite gut and heart wrenching. The report showed Theo has a golf ball sized tumor spawning out of the left optic nerve. The tumor is hurting his eye and he is at risk of losing his vision. Any harm to his hypothalamus could ruin Theo’s health and quality of life.

The treatment plan that proposes the best results started on Jan. 23, 2023 his first dual chemotherapy. He is being treated once a week for 3 months by dual chemo and then once a month for 12 months. The treatments will be a minimum of 15 months with routine MRI’s to check the effectiveness of the treatments. Life has been a challenge at times these last few months. I am self employed and have taken quite a few non paid days off since last November to be with my family and make Theo’s appointments. To be home and fulfill the needs of Theo and our family, my wife Charity has resigned from her job.
Prayers and love have carried us through this time. Words seem to fall short and be insufficient to say THANK YOU for your support. May the Lord Bless each of you as we journey together to see Theo completely restored in his health In Jesus Name.

Love and Gratitude,
