For medical expenses and adaptive equipment
Donation protected
On the afternoon of October 22, 2022, Brandon was working under his truck when the gas tank caught fire, spilling gas on him and subsequently catching him on fire. Brandon was able to get out from under the vehicle, but not before sustaining life-threatening and life-altering second and third-degree burns to over 45% of his body. Brandon was transferred to UPMC Altoona Trauma Center, where he was stabilized, sedated, and intubated. He was then flown by helicopter to a UPMC Trauma Center in Pittsburgh, where he is currently in ICU for his injuries.
All money and donations would be used for expenses while we travel back and forth to Pittsburgh to be with Brandon, medical expenses that aren’t covered by his insurance, rehabilitation, along with physical and occupational therapies, and any adaptations and alterations that need to be made in his home for him to live a functional life.
