Help with medical bills & gas money

Hello my name is Sherry & on 12/29/23 my life changed forever. I was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia. I spent 37 days in the hospital until I reached remission. This is a very rare & aggressive blood cancer so I have to continue arsenic treatments for 8 mths (I'm done with my 1st mth), then I have to have another bone marrow biopsy to determine what my 2 yr treatment plan will be. This is maintenance to make sure the cancer doesn't come back. I'm doing this all alone but my friends & some family have been an amazing support system. I have to drive 70 miles round trip every day, 5 days/week for my treatments so this has been financially & emotionally draining but I'm so blessed to be alive! The Dr told me I was only 1 to 2 days away from dying. One patient with this cancer wasn't so lucky & didn't make it even a day. I've never been one to ask for help & I hate doing it but the amount I have to pay just for the arsenic pills I need to stay alive is $562/mth not to mention my hospital bill & what it is costing me to get my treatments. I also have to get blood work & an EKG every Monday that I have to pay 20% of. I hate asking for help especially when I know how hard it is for everyone but I would be very grateful even if you could spare $1. Every little bit would help at least take some of the financial burden off my worries. Thank you for reading my story & for your help if you were able to. If you weren't that's fine too!
