A group of local doctors with different specialties launched this initiative to bring healthcare directly to the people who need it most.

The healthcare crisis in Gaza

The health system in Gaza is on the verge of total collapse. Hospitals and clinics have been destroyed or severely damaged, while others are overwhelmed and unable to function. Shortages of fuel, electricity, medicines, and medical equipment make it nearly impossible to provide consistent care.

For displaced families living in tents, access to healthcare is almost nonexistent. Many people are forced to walk long distances or attempt dangerous travel to reach the nearest hospital, which often cannot admit new patients due to overcrowding. In this context, local, community-led medical initiatives are the only chance for many families to receive even the most basic care.

What we do

Our medical point operates from a tent in West Gaza, at Ansar Junction, inside a displacement camp where no hospitals are nearby. It provides direct, free healthcare to people who otherwise have no access.

We treat around 130 patients every day — more than 1,000 people each week. Most are children, elderly, and people suffering from war-related injuries or chronic conditions left untreated due to lack of access.

Operating hours: Daily (except Fridays), 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Why this matters

This medical point is not run by international organizations but by local doctors who understand the needs of their community. It is a grassroots initiative built from the ground up, providing immediate and accessible care where larger systems cannot reach.
