Help Honor Alessandro’s Life with Love & dignity

My name is Carlo, and I never thought I would be writing something like this. My father, Alessandro, is in the hospital, fighting for his life. We’ve been told that we don’t have much time left, and no words can prepare a son to hear that. No words can ease the pain of sitting beside the man who raised you, the man who taught you what strength and sacrifice look like, and knowing that his time here is running short. We want to honor my father’s life the way he deserves — with compassion, love, and respect. Every contribution, every prayer, and every act of kindness will not only help us cover these medical and funeral expenses, but will also allow us to give him a farewell that reflects the man he truly is: a man of love, sacrifice, and strength. My father has always been more than just “Dad.” He has been a devoted husband to my mother, Lina, and a loving father to me and my sister, Pina. To my wife Lindsay, he has been the most caring father-in-law, and to my brother-in-law Jesus, a trusted guide. Most of all, he has been “Nonno” — a proud and joyful grandfather to Tiana, Jayla, and Giovanni… and yes, even to our family dog, Ravioli, who adored him just as much as the rest of us. Anyone who knew him knows the kind of heart he has — always willing to help, always ready to give, never asking for anything in return. He carried the weight of the world on his shoulders so that his family didn’t have to. He showed us all what it means to live with courage, sacrifice, and unconditional love. This fundraiser is our family’s plea for help — not just financially, but emotionally and spiritually too.
