We reach out to you today with heavy hearts, hoping you can help us give Shanique a fighting chance at a longer, fuller life.

Born in Australia in 1994, Shanique followed her dreams to Canada, where she built a life filled with adventure, love, and boundless possibilities. She and her fiancé, James, embraced the world together, believing their journey was only just beginning.

But on February 5, 2025, their world was turned upside down. Shanique suffered a sudden seizure and was rushed to the hospital. What followed was a devastating diagnosis—Stage 3 High-Grade Glioma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer.

She bravely underwent emergency surgery, where doctors removed as much of the tumor as possible. However, her recovery has been incredibly difficult. The tumor has impacted her mobility, and she can no longer walk without assistance. Everyday movements, things she once did effortlessly, now require immense effort and support.

Determined to bring her home to Australia, Shanique and James made every effort to arrange her return. But just 24 hours before her flight, she suffered multiple, severe seizures and was rushed back into intensive care.

Her battle is far from over. She now urgently needs radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and advanced targeted treatments to give her the best chance at survival. Through it all, James has been her rock—coordinating her medical care, handling appointments, and managing their life in Canada. But the financial burden is overwhelming.

They cannot do this alone.
