On Saturday, we said our goodbyes to Skip Howe.  Pastor Nicolette did a fantastic job of helping us with the grieving process. Paige read a moving tribute to her dad - I'm so proud of her.  Stymie was on good behavior - while she recounted tales of just how much Skip loved Karen, she inserted some humor.  She talked about ways they butted heads AND she recounted how they came together over Trivia.   She told a story about how good Skip was at Trivia ... and remembering just about anything.  Glenn - one of Karen's cousins, spoke for everyone when he talked about how much fun Skip was to be around and how much he will be missed. 

As I've mentioned in other posts, Skip survived 3 decades of dealing with Parkinsons Disease.  That was only possible with Karen's love and support.  Not only was she a CareGiver to Skip - She also was a CareGiver to her mother and father.  It's a very hard job. She is a true SuperHero.

Parkinson's takes a toll in more ways than quality of life - the wallet is hit hard too.  This isn't an easy ask but ... I'm hoping to get the fund up another $5K before closing it out.  Please help me get to the last 1/3 by donating OR sharing this info with your social media network.
