Justin's chemo treatments & living expenses
Donation protected
Aloha, our names are David & Shannon, and we're fundraising for Shannon's brother, Justin.
A few days ago, Justin was experiencing fatigue to where he couldn't walk 30 steps without being extremely out of breath as if he had sprint a marathon at top speed non stop. During this time, he'd feel his heart racing to what could only be described as a jackhammer thundering through his chest, with its sound bassing through his ears.
This is when he went to urgent care, where he was later admitted as they found after running tests that he was bleeding internally. They then started a blood transfusion, and upon further testing, they discovered something wrong with his bone marrow, and began scheduling him to be transported to another facility to undergo a bone marrow biopsy.
It was during these tests when the doctors gave the devastating news that the likely cause of his symptoms are Leukemia.
He has been taking chemo pills, and currently getting platelets to help with clotting. As of right now (8/22/23) with a recent update from his fiance, he is now resting, very tired due to the blood transfusions. However, he now has
bleeding in his eye, like a burst vessel, and is also bleeding in his gums. Now they will insert a picc line to get him ready to go as soon as a bed becomes available for the procedure.
Justin grew up on Oahu, but moved to Oregon to start his life with his step son, and loving fiance of 4 years, and with their baby girl on the way due in December. He is a hard working, loving father, who loves his video games and would do anything for his family.
All donations, no matter how small, can create a significant impact, and go towards Justins chemo treatments, and help with his living expenses.
Anything will be vastly appreciated!
(For those who aren't fans of GoFundMe due to them taking out a percentage, here's Justin's VENMO & CASHAPP accounts. This way he'll get 100% of your donation!)
