With Jennifer, For Her Girls — Standing Strong Together

If you’re reading this, it’s likely because Jennifer has touched your life in some way—through a kind gesture, a steady presence, or simply by being the compassionate and thoughtful person she is. Or perhaps a friend shared this page with you, knowing how much it means to come together when someone we care about needs support.
What many don’t know is that behind Jennifer’s radiant spirit lies a deeply personal battle—one she has fought with quiet courage. In April 2024, Jennifer was diagnosed with stage IV malignant melanoma, an aggressive and advanced form of skin cancer. True to who she is, she kept much of this struggle private, never wanting to burden others. But now, as treatments become more complex and demanding, a group of us—her close friends and loved ones—are reaching out on her behalf.
Jennifer, her husband, and their two young daughters—Jaymie (6) and Parker (1)—are facing not just the emotional toll of this illness, but the growing financial strain that comes with it: time away from work, travel for treatment, and countless unplanned expenses. Our hope is to ease that burden, so Jennifer can focus on what matters most—her healing, her children, and the time they have together.
Over the past year, Jennifer has undergone multiple treatments including immunotherapy, targeted oral therapies, and a clinical trial at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. She has also received targeted radiation to manage growing tumors and stabilize brain lesions. Despite setbacks and progression of the disease, she continues to fight with unwavering determination, always putting her family and loved ones first.
She is now exploring advanced treatments not available in Canada—such as dendritic cell therapy and Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocyte (TIL) therapy. These treatments bring hope, but also come with significant challenges—especially around the costs, travel, and access to care.
Jennifer would never ask for help herself, which is why we are. If you’re able to donate, share this campaign, or simply hold Jennifer and her family in your thoughts, we are deeply grateful. Your support—no matter the form—means more than words can say. ❤️
