Emergency housing and bills for Tre
Donation protected
Update: Tre has been released from the hospital. He will be staying at a motel for one week, generously donated by friends. We are beyond grateful for the monetary response to this fundraiser. We would love to find him an affordable apartment, and use the money raised here for rent.

I am fundraising to help Tre find a place to live, pay utilities, and adhere to a low-sodium diet. Tre has been hospitalized for more than three weeks with severe liver disease and a cancerous tumor. He has a strong desire to find safe, affordable housing so that he can spend as much time as he can with his three children, and follow all doctor's orders. He has been unable to work since being hospitalized three weeks ago. He does not have a stable home environment to return to when he leaves the hospital. Any amount helps him be as independent as he can be during this time of crisis.

Tre has spent his 51 years of life living in and around Wheaton and Batavia, Illinois. He is a loving father to three teenagers, and a good friend to many. Anyone who knows Tre knows he is a generous soul, who has great joy for life and spending time with good company. He has a very good heart and is determined to make the changes he needs to make to fulfill a promise to his children. He faces a very hard road ahead. We will find out more about his tumor in mid-April and determine the best way to fight the cancer. Currently, they want to cut it out and see whether or not it has spread locally. If they cannot remove the tumor fully, he will need to begin radiation. He needs to be on a low-sodium diet to control edema caused by his liver disease. Due to this health issue, it is very important that he have access to a kitchen where he can cook healthy food rather than eat from restaurants. He is still unstable with his anemia, as his hemoglobin levels are dropping every day. This requires him to remain in the hospital on an IV.

He appreciates any level of monetary assistance he can get. The children, Christi and I also appreciate the amount of love and support that has been coming in. Thank you!
