On May 25, 2025 our beloved father and husband, Jon, was involved in a devastating accident that left him paralyzed from his mid-chest down. He is expected to return home on July 11th from the University of Utah Hospital.

This life-altering moment has turned our world upside down — but through it all, Dad has remained incredibly strong and full of fight. His spirit, courage, and sense of humor are as fierce as ever. Our mom, Tawnya, has remained incredibly strong as she manages the changes that follow our Dad's accident.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from friends, family, and neighbors. It has truly meant the world to us. We know we’re not alone — and that gives us strength every single day.

Why We’re Asking for Help:

As we begin this new chapter, we’re quickly realizing how many changes are needed to make Dad’s home safe, functional, and accessible. These include:

• A wheelchair ramp and accessible entryways

• Bathroom modifications (roll-in shower, handrails, etc.)

• Widening doorways

• Stair lift or single-floor living adjustments

• Wheelchair-friendly flooring and furniture

• Medical equipment and mobility aids
