We come to you with heavy hearts to share the story of our incredible friend, Uki. For almost a year, she has been battling pain and fatigue, tirelessly visiting doctors to find answers. After a long and frustrating journey, she finally received the devastating diagnosis that none of us ever wanted to hear cancer .

Uki’s voice trembled as she shared the news with us: “The doctor ran some new tests and scans… and yep, it’s cancer.” In that moment, time stood still, and our hearts sank. Uki, a loving single mother of two, expressed her deepest fear: “I don’t want to die; I’m not ready to leave my babies.”

But Uki is a warrior. She has resolved to fight this disease with everything she has—mentally, emotionally, and physically. She’s dedicated to a holistic approach that combines nutritional therapy, energy healing, meditation, and conventional medicine. We're more than willing to share her journey and the treatments she’s exploring if you’d like to support her in that way.

Each of us plays a vital role in Uki’s support system. From attending her appointments and collecting information to offering emotional and spiritual encouragement, we are all in this together. However, the reality is that cancer has infiltrated every aspect of her life.

Uki is not just fighting for her health; she’s trying to maintain her home cleaning business, which has suffered greatly due to her illness. The pain she endures daily makes it impossible for her to work, resulting in significant financial strain. She has to pay her staff to cover her jobs, all while trying to provide for her children. The emotional toll is heavy, leading to feelings of depression and isolation.

Why We're Asking for Help

Uki needs time to heal and the space to focus on her recovery. The costs of her medical treatments and living expenses are piling up:

- Oncologist appointments, treatments, and tests are increasing her financial burden.

- The rental home where she lives with her children is unsafe, with moisture and potential mold, threatening her already weakened immune system. We’d like to help her find a safe, healthy home.

- Her doctor has emphasized the urgent need for dental care to prepare her body for cancer treatment, a cost that has never been a priority for her financially.

- Amidst this, she also strives to provide a stable environment for her thriving children and care for her beloved rescue animals, who are a vital source of comfort during this challenging time.

Uki has always been the first to offer help to others, a true friend and sister to many. Now, it’s our turn to rally around her.

- $15,000 for urgent dental work, this work is needed before June , in June Uki commences stage 2 treatment for the cancer. Without this treatment Uki is at risk for infection that will impact her cancer treatment.

- $15,000 to cover three months of living expenses.
