In Faith and Thanks, help Adam Move Forward

Hey there it’s me Andrea, please allow me to share Adam’s story with you and if you feel led in helping, sharing, and/ or keeping him in prayer we and especially he would be ever so grateful!

Hi, my name is Adam, and I’m reaching out for support as I face an important medical journey.

I have been dealing with advanced periodontal disease for quite some time, it’s a condition that ran in my family and in my case was unavoidable. All I would have been able to do is slow down the process— I’ve reached the point where all of my teeth must be removed and is necessary for a better quality of life. The infection has reached into my bone and has caused other health problems along with bone loss. The removal will happen over four separate surgical visits, and I’ll have options for my future in dental health. This will also put me in a situation where I’ll miss work days at a time between procedures.

This isn’t easy to share. Although dental health can feel like a personal subject, my reality is that this is a serious medical need that cannot be delayed any longer. Despite doing what I could, the hereditary nature of the disease has taken over, and I’ve ran out of time. To be truthful I was scared to face this, I could have done something maybe sooner and it wouldn’t have been so extreme but again it would have only slowed down the process. I used to love to smile, and now I hide it.

While this has been a difficult and humbling experience, I am hopeful. I believe that with faith, perseverance, and the support of others, healing and restoration are possible. Any amount you can give, no matter how small, would mean more than words can say — and if you’re not able to give, your prayers and encouragement are just as valuable.
