Help with expenses while Jon is recovering

On Saturday 3/18/23, my brother in law, Jon Rogers, was in a snowmobile accident. Jon was thrown from his sled, dislocating his hip and breaking his pelvis. Jon was rushed to Edmundston by ambulance where he received an X-ray and was taken to the OR to have his hip put back into place. On Sunday morning he received a CT scan that verified he has a broken pelvis. Today 03/21/23 he was airlifted to Saint John to have the surgery required to fix his pelvis. As of now, the plan is for Jon to have surgery which will consist of inserting a plate and pin in his pelvis. Jon has a great support system including his wife, Melana, who has taken time off work to be with him.

Update 03/23/23

surgery went well. He’s in a lot of pain (to be expected). Melana is fighting for the proper pain management (she’s a trooper). At this time expected recovery time is 6months.
