Hi, My name is Jacqueline.
I was just diagnosed with breast cancer that have already moved into my bones and liver. My husband and the rest of family is trying step but frustration and stress as showing through. From a shoulder in May, the pain and mobility have changed dramatically. Bone tumors hurt a lot and cause a lot of swelling. The hip replacement I have been praying for should have happened May or June this year - I suspect Cancer cancels that.
Between the pain meds and the actual pain I am asleep about 16 hours a day. My Niece has stepped in to keep things running. Dennis has to help me so much but he "fights" through it to help me. He understands how difficult the first while is.
My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in the beginning of 2024. I have spent most of that time trying to figure out how to survive. He is my rock. He is the family’s sole provider. He is my everything.
The short version is I need help. I care for my mother (who at the same time I was coming to terms with my husbands cancer ended up have blood flow issues in her leg that lead to two attempted bypass operations and sadly her leg being amputated when they failed. So she is now wheel chair bound). I also care for my three children with Autism. Now technically young adults they still need almost constant attention. I have put off my needs of both a hearing aid (deafness attributed to the years of screaming children) and new glasses. Additionally I need help covering those parts of Cancer treatment not covered by anything. My husband has been offered some hope in the form of clinical trials, but we need $2700.00 to pay our portion of this cost. It would be beneficial too if we had the money to get the continuous blood sugar monitor he was using that we had to stop due to money (they are $300.00 a month).
I will try to explain the extent of struggles when I can.
