Meet Binx, a 13 month old domestic black cat. More than that, he is one of two brothers we adopted into our family. On June 2nd, we had to rush him to the Animal ER for labored breathing. They discovered his lungs were full of fluid, and recent test results from our Vet showed he has wet FIP. FIP is almost always fatal, but there is a treatment that has had great success rates that isn’t approved by the FDA. This treatment is expensive and we have already paid so much already with the ER and vet bill. I hate asking for help, especially in today’s economy, where everyone is struggling…but have to try. I have two girls who would be almost as sad as I would be to lose him. He and his brother are our first official family pets (outside of a fish), and I had waited for 13 years to get a kitty of my own. I waited for a little black male cat, and once I saw him posted on the PFS Facebook page I had to have him. Our little Hocus Pocus boy we had hoped to have around for 10-15 years… can’t lose him after 9 months. Thanks for considering helping!
