Too many girls decide that jobs and careers in science are “not for people like me”. At a time when more and more jobs are opening up in these areas - don't let girls miss out!
The WISE Not for people like me?
report recommends a fresh approach - focusing on the types of people who succeed in science, technology and engineering - using adjectives to describe their personalities and aptitudes, rather than the jobs themselves.
Based on this report, WISE developed the revolutionary People Like Me
resource for teachers, STEM ambassadors and others working with young people to show girls the wonderful opportunities open to them in science, technology, engineering and maths.
WISE are offering training in the People Like Me approach for organisations and wishing to be licensed to use the approach within their own organisation or during outreach activities.
If your organisation is interested in licensing, please read more about training and licensing
. Or, if you would like to participate in our forthcoming training sessions for individuals please complete this form
to register your interest.
Please help WISE build a better future for girls so they can help build a better future for us all.
Every donation helps us make a difference.
