On Thursday, August 22nd, 2019 around 5:00 in the morning, our beloved son Wisdom Persistence Makano, on his way from the restroom screamed from the top of his lungs.
His mon and I woke up quickly. We found him lay on the floor still screaming. We asked many what is going on? But wisdom couldn’t talk. All the sudden Wisdom said three words that will ring in our head for the rest of lives: “My head! My head! My head!” with our son’s eyes started rolling. I called 911 and in less than 10 minutes, emergency services showed up and transported Wisdom to OHSU (Oregon Health and Science University), one of the best hospitals in the United States.
Just a few hours after arriving, Wisdom was pronounced brain dead and hours later Wisdom was pronounced dead from what learned to BRAIN ANEURYSM. A disease we came to know just after the death of our son.
Our pain is beyond words but Wisdom full story will be told at the appropriate time. For now, we are coping with funeral and memorial service to lay our son to rest in the most dignified way any family would do for someone their hold near and dear, despite the unpreparedness due to circumstances.
Thus, we are creating this Gofundme account for anyone who feels our pain to please help to cover funeral and memorial services for Wisdom Persistence Makano.
