Shirdi Sai Baba our spiritual Guru, is regarded for uniting the communities and serving them with Love. With the mission to embrace the spirit of oneness and promote unity in mankind, Wisconsin Shirdi Sai (WISS) was formed in April 2013. What started as a Satsang by a few devotees on a monthly basis, has now beautifully blossomed into a vibrant growing community in Milwaukee area and suburbs, (state of Wisconsin) with hundreds of devotees swarming in to attain spiritual bliss and seek Babas blessings every Thursday. We have been celebrating events like Guru Poornima, Vijaya Dasami and Ram Navami with grandeur every year. Other than regular religious services we are also actively partnering with Charitable organizations and involved in several philanthropic activities such as;
* Sandwich and Milk project (Milwaukee Rescue Mission and Joy House)
* Virtues Class for kids and Bhajan classes
* Meditation sessions and Spiritual Discourses
* Blood donation drives
* Empowerment of Women and Youth
(Waukesha Women’s Shelter and Pathfinders)
* Medical Camps (local and Global)
* Enabling The Community - through annual showcase
* Winter clothes drive
We have been dreaming to have a dedicated SHIRDI SAI BABA MANDIR and as we move into our 5th year, BABA has been gracious and showered his blessings on all of us by paving the way to his abode (home) at 111 Prospect Avenue, Pewaukee 53072, WI, USA.
The abode encompasses;
* 8500 sq ft area on 1.25 acres
* Spacious Prayer Hall accommodating 200 devotees
* Community Hall and Dinning Area with a fully equipped kitchen
* Class spaces, office rooms & other regular utilities
* Ample parking area
A surrounding beautiful Lake with access to the Public Library across the street adds on to the beauty of our new Home for Baba. This will be the FIRST DEDICATED SHRINE FOR SHIRDI SAI BABA IN MILWAUKEE AREA AND SUBURBS (STATE OF WISCONSIN).
We are really excited about the new facility and are looking forward to expand our prayer services as well as other charitable events embracing a larger community. At this joyous moment, we seek your prayers and financial support in fulfilling this mission.
We are currently working with our bank towards the closing of the property and our immediate financial goal will only be possible with your generous support.
