Wirral Walk for Elsie’s Moon Charity
Donation protected
On 6th July 2025, Dan and I will be taking part in the Wirral Coastal Walk in honour of Elsie’s Moon Charity.
A little backstory-
A few will know already, but for those who don’t, back in 2022 our whole world was torn apart when we found out our much loved and wanted baby boy, Rory, no longer had a heartbeat. At 21 weeks I had to bring him into this world asleep, it was the most traumatic experience and not a day goes by that he is not in our thoughts.
Since then, unfortunately, we have gone on to suffer two more baby losses, one at 16 weeks and one at 12 weeks, all equally as devastating as each other.
Elsie’s Moon have supported us in various ways throughout these anwful experiences, by providing much needed support in the form of Counselling sessions, and reassurance scans. Pregnancy after a loss is the scariest, most stressful thing and having support from Elsie’s Moon really did help.
Unfortunately for us, things didn’t go as planned in the pregnancies after we lost Rory, but this charity helps so many families after loss and also navigating pregnancy after loss.
“ A little about Elsie’s Moon-
Elsie’s Moon was created in memory of our beautiful daughter Elsie, to support families when pregnancy or birth doesn’t follow the plan. Whether it’s loss during pregnancy, stillbirth, neonatal loss — we’re here to offer love, understanding and practical support to families navigating this journey.”
The funds raised will go directly to supporting local families through memory boxes, bereavement resources, and peer support — and at the moment, with things being incredibly tough financially for small charities, every single penny really does mean the world.”
We appreciate that times are tough for most at the minute, but if you can, please consider donating some spare pennies. We would really appreciate it.
Thanks all
