Jarin Baigent, a proud Wiradjuri woman, and her partner Simon Spencer and their Wiradjuri bubs, are reeling from the devastating loss of their family home in Balgowlah, consumed by a fierce house fire on May 7. To compound this heart-wrenching situation, Simon's parents have also lost their house in the same devastating incident.

Jarin, a matriarch renowned for her unwavering dedication in advocacy, has been a driving force behind the transformative initiative, Trading Blak, providing opportunities for First Nations buisness owners and calling for accountability within the industry.
