Wintertide is an independent festival, working at a grassroots level on the Headland in Hartlepool. Using arts and culture to inspire and empower communities, and doing so in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way.

In 2023 Wintertide Festival moved to a Biennial model, with plans for deeper, more meaningful community engagement throughout the year.

Constellation represents the interconnectedness of individuals in a community, coming together to form a unified, radiant whole. Inspired by the stars, this theme celebrates shared dreams, collective ambition, and the beauty of unity. Just as constellations guide travelers and tell stories in the night sky, the people of the town weave their unique lights into a shared vision for the future.
