Help Us Care For Winter: Emergency Surgery for Our Sweet Angel
Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for help for our beloved dog, Winter.
Winter was recently diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening infection that required an emergency hysterectomy. Without surgery, she wouldn’t have survived — and we knew we had to act fast to save her life. Thankfully, she made it through the procedure, but now we’re facing an unexpected financial burden we weren’t prepared for.
Between the cost of the surgery, medications, and follow-up care, we’re looking at a total of $5,000. This has been a really difficult time for us, and while it’s hard to ask for help, we’re doing so for Winter — a dog who’s been nothing but love and light in our lives.
Winter is more than just a pet — she’s our family. She’s the kind of dog who wins hearts wherever she goes: gentle, goofy, loyal, and full of personality. She’s brought comfort during hard times and joy on ordinary days. We know many of you have met her, loved her, or simply know how much she means to us.
If you’re able to donate anything at all, we would be deeply grateful. And if you’re not in a place to give, sharing this page would mean the world to us, too.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.
With love,
Melissa, Steve & Winter
