For $5 Keep Winter in Alabama

A graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School, Winter Marie Buffo was a member of the National Honors Society throughout her four year tenure of high school. Never shy of hard work, Winter has maintained a 4.12 GPA while holding down up to four different jobs at one time while in high school. Winter also would spend her free time volunteering at various food pantries, in the Summer she helps with several Vacation Bible Schools and every year she works with a youth basketball league teaching kids the fundamentals of the game and encouraging them by sharing the teachings of Jesus Christ and the gospel.
Winter has been determined to attend the University of Alabama, got accepted and has been attending classes since August 17th. So far her experience at Alabama has been nothing short of excellent. Winter has done nothing but blossom and excel in her short time at Alabama. Unfortunately, finances have gotten in the way. Due to Winter’s family's financial situation, she currently still owes $12,360.00. Winter found a co-signer to help but at the last minute the co-signer pulled out, leaving her in a very difficult position. If Winter is unable to pay by Friday (9/2), she will be purged from his classes and kicked out of her dorm. Though she likely can secure additional funds and scholarships in the future, the short timeline makes that impossible right now.
Winter is committed to stay at the University of Alabama and needs your help to make her dream a reality. All moneys collected will be used for Winer's education even if the goal is not met. Though additional scholarship and grant seeking efforts, and the extra time will allow her family to correct their financial situation, we know it can be done. But, right now, she won't be able to complete this semester unless her bill gets paid.
We need funds ASAP to keep her in school. Every little bit will help towards this goal. Just one-dollar can change her life forever!
