Winterboro Tornado Relief

Winterboro Volunteer Fire and Rescue is raising funds for our Community Members who have been affected by the destruction caused by a devastating tornado on March 15, 2025. 10 to 15 structures were heavily damaged and/or destroyed by an EF2 tornado that started in the field behind Winterboro High School and traveled east at least 3 to 5 miles through our community. The National Weather Service estimated the tornado to be 300 to 500 yards wide with sustained winds of 120 miles an hour.
