Hello everyone! Thank you so much for taking the time to check out our fundraiser for our short film Winter Mourning. Our film is written, directed, produced, and entirely filmed by University of Rhode Island students and we need your help to make this film a reality!

About Us: Winter Mourning is a film written and directed by Jacob Iacobucci that explores German expressionist visual motifs and postmodernism narrative storytelling to explore the stages of grief and acceptance in the wake of tragedy.

Logline: In the aftermath of a tragic accident, a young man comes face to face with a grieving parent and the consequences of his mistake.

Synopsis: Danny, in the wake of tragedy, relives the key moments of his relationship and has to come to grips with the guilt and trauma of loss. As he grieves he is faced with the looming shadow of his deceased girlfriend’s parent. Forgiveness isn’t guaranteed, it’s handed over after facing death in the face and choosing where to go next…
