My name is Lev Weisswasser. I’m 18 and just graduated highschool. I have been a whitewater kayaker most of my life. During my time kayaking I have seen people on my team get stuck and hurt on the river, and EMS often takes too much time to get there. This is why I decided to start designing Winter. Using my skills from years of working with drones at the Micro Drone Racing World Championship, I realized I could make an automated drone rescue system that can fly autonomously to a rescue and give people the support they need before traditional EMS can make it. The 3000 dollars here will go directly to build a full scale drone, to help with EMS response in our community.
