Winter damage and electricity price gouged
Donation protected
Please help me and my husband, we're months out of work from corona virus and the winter storm hit us particularly hard. I'll list everything out and their expenses. I've a thousand in savings, and most things we could have sold are damaged now. So we can't cover everything
Our electricity cost has shot through the roof the few times we had power during the storm, jumping into the thousands. - 3,129.58
The floor has started to fall through in the living room, my husband's room, and is falling through in my own. - 2,552.43
New tires for car - 200
Axle repair - 1099.60 (Pictured)
Dead car battery - 125
Replacement food - 200
Total: 7,181.61
Between the 6,250 asked for here and my savings should be able to handle it along with any taxes.
Right now the biggest things are getting the place repaired and energy paid off so we can keep warm in the coming days. Thank you for any help you can provide.
