Winston's warriors

Winston.  He's a 2014 graduate of Effingham County High school.  He enlisted in the ARMY soon after. Winston was deployed to Afghanistan in the Fall of 2016.  While him and some of his fellow Soldiers were preparing for a run to honor Veterans on November 12th,  a coward (who was known to our Soldiers ) detonated a suicide bomb. Winston was very close to the explosion. He was airlifted to a hospital in Germany until he was stable enough to travel back to the CONUS. He is currently in rehab learning how to function again and will be undergoing a painful surgery soon. If all goes well, he will be home in mid March. An addition needs to be built on to the family home in order to meet his disabilities.  Our mission has changed. We are going to use the remainder of the money raised to go toward that addition.
  He has a long road ahead of him. We love you Winston and family. You remain steadfast in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. ♡
