Hi, we are raising funds for our son Winston’s therapy intensives. Winston is a funny, brave, and awesome kid who was born with multiple disabilities including Down syndrome, autism, hirshbrung’s disease and severe gross motor delays. He has battled through surgery as well as epilepsy early in life. He has been attending physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy since he was 6 months old. He is such a hard worker!

We are asking for help as Winston’s therapies are not covered by the government and as a family we pay out of pocket to make sure Winston can achieve his goals. In addition to therapies, we also pay for custom orthotics and shoes, sensory items, special needs equipment, walkers, standers and gross motor items which need replacing as he grows. In addition costs include communication devices and AAC software so Winston can communicate more effectively.

In 2023 Winston will be attending physio and occupational therapy intensives at SMILE Therapy for Kids which mean he attends therapy daily for 1-4 weeks. Intensives are clinically proven to assist children to achieve their goals faster and more effectively than spaced appointments. We are hoping to raise funds so he can do several weeks of intensives throughout the year to help him achieve his goals and keep moving forward. Thank you so much for your support!!
