Hi, my name is Emily and I am putting together this fundraiser to help my friend Kaori cover some of the costs for her mom's Celebration of Life activities. As you may know, Winnie passed away on August 7th after battling cancer for a long time. Winnie was a free-spirited, vivacious soul who lived every moment of her life to the fullest, all the way up until the very end. To commemorate her life, Kaori has organized a week to celebrate Winnie's life by doing some of her favorite things (e.g. salsa/bachata dancing, boiling crab, bike rides along the beach, etc.). Whether or not you're able to participate in these activities, any contributions, big or small will be sincerely appreciated and deposited directly to Kaori through 10/23, the last day of Winnie's "Celebration of Life" week.
