Winnie is my 1 year old Rough Collie, a lively and happy girl who is loved by her mum.

This week our hearts were shattered after winnie unexpectedly started vomiting. She was taken to the vets who found that her stomach was full of undigested food and gas. She had an operation on the 16th to remove this, but after spending 12 solid hours overnight standing (refusing to lay down) and being short of breath she was admitted to ICU at DWR Veterinary practice in Newmarket. She is in a bad way but is waiting on ultrasound and xrays to determine what other problems there may be that the first operation has not resolved.

She is insured, but the vet bill is already at £4000 and we are only covered up to £2500 even with the level of cover we have. Any help towards her bills is welcomed and we greatly appreciate any help towards her recovery. I have managed to cover the initial parts of her treatment but due to her sudden emergency admission the bills are creeping higher despite insurance.
